Halloweekend 2018

The holiday known as Halloween has turned into Halloweekend for me the last few years. Especially in college, Halloween can last anytime from the week before to the weekend after. For my fourth consecutive year, here's what I was for Halloween! (Check out 2015, 2016, and  2017 ). I have to say that this year wasn't my most creative year when it came to costumes, but I definitely had a good time.

As you know, I went to high school in a 'Gossip Girl' like school located on the Upper East Side of Manhattan, so for Halloween, I decided to play it up a bit more. I was wearing my high school skirt but I matched it was a fuzzy white jacket I bought in Portugal. 

 Of course, I had to take the "typical" college photos in my dorm hall (there's a possibility I might be giving a room tour soon...).

 For Halloween, my friends and I dressed up as Greek Goddesses altogether. My dress was from Forever 21 for $12. We all ran around campus together and even took some photos with two boys dressed up as a horse (get it because of the Trojan horse).

I feel like Halloween is taken a lot more seriously on college campuses than I had previously thought. I think for next year I am going to go all out on a costume because this year I saw so many people dressed as characters from Stranger Things, Riverdale, and even Back to the Future. I had never been into going all out on a costume, but I've been inspired for next year. Especially since Halloween isn't just one day anymore like when I was a little, but at some colleges is a whole week celebration of wearing costumes.
